Bianca, Nationally Ranked Equestrian Vaulter

I worked with Shannon for the first time in 2019, took a break when the pandemic hit, then eventually went through my first ever real bulk and full comp season in 2021 with her and have continued to bug her ever since.
Shannon Quite Literally Helped Me Reshape My Relationship With Food
When I first came to her, Shannon took me from a newbie in recovery to someone that truly feels equipped to fuel like an athlete. More than anything though, she has taken the onslaught of issues I’ve thrown at her (chronic GI issues, undiagnosed mysterious reproductive issues, injuries, adrenal fatigue, weight gain, weight loss, and more) completely in stride, and always helped me to feel like there was a plan. This year in particular she’s truly been an invaluable advocate for me too.

Knowing The Right Questions To Ask
When I hurt my shoulder and a literal sports med doctor told me it was tendinitis, it was Shannon that told me to request an MRI for a labral tear. I quite literally got surgery because she knew what to look for.
When my period got debilitating and my ovulation was abnormal, it was Shannon (not 4+ years worth of doctors I’ve seen) who has known what supplements to go on and helped me start to feel better.
Support When I Need It
She knows when I need more support and when I can do my own thing, she’s smart but makes everything approachable, she has the coolest bearded dragon and she’s also incredibly strong in her own sport. I always advocate for coaches needing coaches, and everyone needs a Shannon!
